Planning and Zoning is responsible for overseeing the development, construction, and permitting functions of the city.  Land use and zoning compliance matters are also managed by this department. General inquiries can be directed to the Zoning Administrator, whose contact information is below.

Planning Escrow Release

Many Planning requests require an escrow deposit in addition to the application fee. An escrow is a deposit collected by the City at the time of application to cover project-related costs that may be incurred during the review and inspection process, such as engineering, planning, or other professional services. Any unused escrow funds will be returned to the applicant once the project is completed and all final approvals have been issued. Application fees are non-refundable. To request escrow release, please submit an Escrow Release Request Form. Please note, the approval process for escrow release may take 30 days or more to receive sign-off from all departments and for refund to be processed.
