The Parks Commission is made up of five Greenfield residents. Each commissioner serves a three-year term. Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month.

There is no public comment period at Parks Commission meetings; however, applicants are welcome, at the chair’s discretion, to address the Commission after the commissioners’ discussion. Comments are not time-limited but should be respectful and concise. These meetings are recorded and posted on the City’s website the following day. Therefore, residents wishing to comment are asked to speak from the podium where the microphone is located, rather than from their seats.

Parks Advisory members are appointed by the Greenfield City Council. Please contact City Hall at 763-477-6464 if you have any questions regarding Parks Advisory meetings.

Planning Commission

There is no Public Comment at Planning Commission meetings but applicants are welcomed, by the chair, to address the Commission after City Planner review and commissioner's discussion. When a Public Hearing is scheduled; the public is invited to speak at the podium once the Public Hearing has been opened by the Chair. Comments are not limited in time but should be respectful and concise. These meetings are recorded and posted the next day on our website. So we ask that the residents wishing to comment do not speak from their seats but do so at the podium where the microphone is located.

Economic Development Authority
The main goals of the Economic Development Authority are to help strengthen our community's businesses, partner with community organizations, and attract new businesses to the City of Greenfield.

The Greenfield Economic Development Authority Commission is comprised of sitting Council members. 

The city's main attributes for development can be a PLUS for expanding or creating a new business or industry. The PLUS is shown in our:

 Position:  Greenfield is located halfway between Plymouth and Buffalo. This places the city at the nexus, right on the Highway 55 corridor.

Labor:  Locating in Greenfield opens the door to a wide-ranging labor market.  

Utilities:  The City of Greenfield has water and sewer capacities to meet almost any need. The water and sewer utilities are managed and owned by the City. 

Support:  The City of Greenfield is supportive of businesses and industries wishing to establish and  grow in the community. We are happy to discuss the different types of assistance that might be available to make your plan a reality.
